Concertina wire is the most widely used type of razor wire and can be divided into two categories depending on its construction: single coil concertina wire and crossed type concertina wire.

• • The single coil concertina wire is made up of several consecutive single spirals, usually with the CBT60 or CBT65 blade type. This type of Concertina wire is simpler, less costly, lighter and easier to install and is suitable for simple security applications such as residential protection, factory security etc.

• • The crossed type concertina wire, which uses clips to connect two adjacent spirals to form a tighter structure, provides a significant increase in security compared to single coil concertina wire. This makes intrusion more difficult and is suitable for applications with higher security requirements, such as battlefields, military bases, prisons, airports, etc.
